This illustration was created for the poem “Wynken, Blynken, and Nod” in the children’s book “A Treasury of Verse for Little Children” published in London inn 1912. It is a painting by Hungarian artist, Willie Pogany who illustrated many children’s books for the Harrap Publishing company in London. This particular book became very popular and is full of lovely poems for children by different authors.
